Title: Digifant cylinder pressure?
Post by: Mk2Kezza on 23 August 2007, 18:24
I've had a look through the post and can't seem to find what the pressure in each cylinder on my 90 digipant shoud be? :undecided:

1 = 11.7
2 = 12
3 = 12
4 = 11.7

Anyone know if this sounds about right? She's done 176000 miles and hopefully will do a few more! :huh:

According to the haynes, when new, pressure should be between 10 and 13 bar, with a minimum of 7.5- yours is good! :smiley:

I've got haynes, but in my haste yesterday I couldn't blinking find it!! Thanks for that anyway.

A load off my mind as she'll going in for a MOT next week, after a new rear wheel bearing. Good to know she's all 'nice and tidy' inside, didn't want to go stripping her, opening a can of worms on a car that age with that mileage!
I think I can live with the leaking valve stem oil seals  :wink: The MOT emmission test is with a warm engine  :smug:

Yeah, I tested mine last week and got 163 to 168 psi, was quite chuffed with that!
