Title: what steels?

my BBs alloys are scrubbed to sh!t and keeping them clean from brake dust is nex to impossible ... so thinking of going back to some steel wheels ... either 15" or 16" ... what do you guys think? ive seen some nice ones on this site but cant find the pic  :undecided: think they were corrado or g60 i cant remember ...

saw some 14x8 banded steels at 450 on the local forum, looked uber cool on the mk1 :laugh:

my new mission is to get some 15's banded to 8inch and use them for winter wheels hahaha!

It's a complex subject, They are not strictly illegal. It's down to an MOT testers decision.

hehe, love the sig - i spent £20k on my forza motorsport 2 golf....btw is the game not just on the 360 - would love a pc version (i drive a £30k kitted lancia delta integrale now - sweeeet) back on topic.....why are they illegal? plus, if its an mot thing - then surely other wheels can just go on. wheels are wheels are wheels as long as they are tucked under the arches.
