hmm.... anyone give a tot why mud flaps are illegal?  :shocked: i mean how would it affect the safety of the car? it wouldnt even add 1bhp to it. well... at least it's not illegal from where im from  :tongue:

They are not illegal, it's just they look silly cars. Guys in here where just have a laugh is all.

my mudflaps are good for at least an extra 20bhp  :tongue:

keeps all the mud and crap off so therefore less weight = more speed  :laugh: :laugh:

i'm not stupid  :rolleyes: that would affect the car's aerodynamics and slow me down!! :grin: :grin:

I have the mud flaps on the GTI   :grin: They turned out better than I thought they would.

They only half decent because your car is stunningly clean. If you like them leave them, its everyone to their own.

i ahd never had them fitted to any other car but had to get the rear ones fitted to my MK2 Leon FR as the colour coded bumper was getting a bit marked from flying stones/chips.okay now though.go with what you thinks right dont worry about what others think.
