Title: What is this?

Post by: JMallows on 25 February 2004, 20:13: I think this is to go on the inside of the bonnet, undeneath the rain gutter, you know, where the washer jets are, those cut outs all along the top of the bonnet. Basically, when it rains, the water collects in there and runs off. I dot think you'd really see it really, all it might do is sheild the hoses from view etc... Does that make sense to anyone? Also when he says original, i think he means made by VAG, not a part thats alrady there. Basically, if im right, its really just a bit of a pointless bit that you never see, and probably wouldn't notice unless someone pointed it out to you? However, i may be wrong!! ???

So that was you who sold that then? Was i right in what i said? Also, tell me, is it just a little bit pointless, or is that going to be a matter of opinion?

Post by: richandhazel on 26 February 2004, 11:51: No it wasn't me that sold it..........thats my point, if it was me I expect I would have got ?2 instead of ?20. Now that you mention it though, I'm going to go and see if that one I'm breaking has one fitted.
