It has been such a reliable car, I rarely do much to it. but now as I am about to go on holiday, the fuel pump has been making a noise and it has surged and hicupped on left hand bends and now on right hand this week and some steep hills.
Question is - do the experts think it is the header tank or the main. i've searched the forum and found a couple of links but nothing on changing the pumps. As time is short I'd appreciate any help advice experience anyone has had.
is it more likely the header, and if I keep the tank fullish will it keep going ?
