Can anyone help? since I picked my car up from the garage yesterday the alarm has been a bit funny. Not making its usual noise, then not setting properly, then it just made a constant high pitched noise when I set it so I had to de set it, then lock it with the key. Then when I got home (from vw festival at harewood house), it was making a really loud wierd noise, (like if you went on dial up internet!). Soulds like some sort of loose connection. I can't find my alarm anywhere to disconnect it. My dad has disconnected the thing that actually makes the noise, but we can't find the alarm. Its a cobra alarm. Does anyone have any ideas where it might be? Could it be that the garage have acidentally done something, as they had to strip down the steering column? Should I disconnect the battery?

Sounds a bit dodgy Gem take it back to the garage and tell them they broke it, could be that the feed to the alarm is not connected back up and the back up battery has gone flat :(

will it be ok to leave it like this overnight? Its not dangerous in any way is it?
