Title: Balljoint

I am in the process of changing my engine, on splitting the balljoints to remove the driveshafts from the gearbox I have split the rubber on one. I looked on vwspares and they list 17mm and 19mm ones. Any idea which ones I want? Its an 88 16v.....

vwspares say up to 87 = 17mm, 88>91 = 19mm ;)
