Title: What coolant,antifreeze etc

Decided to get a new rad instead of radweld or a repair and just wondering what is the best recomended fluid.Someone told me g12+ and someone else just normal stuff from Halfords,any suggestions?

get yourself to the local supermarket garage.... i got 4 bottles of anti-freeze for 6quid!

owt will do, not like it effects performance, and we dont get minus 30 in the UK..not yet anyways.

If you want to use VW stuff then, use either g12+ from gsf or the dealers which is pink / purple as a first choice or use G11 or equivalent from GSF which is blue.

As said cheeper alternatives exist.  I like to use VW if budget allows  :smiley:
