Is yours k-jet or digifant? Also, if it's digifant is it 90 spec or pre 90?

Do it, you'll never look back, or get tired of the charger noise!
Anything VAG can fit in the Mk2 bay with a hammer. I haven't seen anyone put the W8 lump in yet, you could be the first on here with it!

There is a new generation Golf on youtube with a W8 in it. It doesn´t do much though. Just drives around a stadium.

vag = volkswagen audi group.
1.8T and VR6 are the obvious choices as they've been done many times and there will be no shortage of advice available.
why not go 2.0 bottom end with a big valve head and cams and twin webbers or throttle bodies, see what your 8v can really do!

so realy i wana buy this

Yep, but the guys that work at Silverlakes like to use their power saws to remove things, even when not even remotely necessary! They are just general thingys from my dealings with them, although more so the guys at the desk/in the office than the guys in the yard.
-
you can pick up complete vr6 mk3 golfs for that price if you look hard
Buy the complete car imo. There is a Passat VR6 in the for sale section. Ideal for the conversion. Same kind of price too
-
I dunno that's a crazy wide angle for a v6, you'd have no hope fitting it transversely.
Yes that is a challenge - someone should definitely try it
-
I would have thought putting a VR6 in a MK2 Golf would make it too nose heavy and handle like crap?
-
hears something i found that looks a bit tight lol

cant get it any bigger sorry guys and galls
-

A vr would fit, it has been many times before!
I've read about it f**ks up the handling etc with the weight as Blazing Storm is saying, yet a guy i've spoken to face to face that has a mk2 vr6 with a decent suspension set up said it is sh!t hot and those people are talking bollocks. I'm sure if it really f**ked things up then not even half as many people that do it, would do it!
