Hi, just joined and thought i would say hi first before browsing around. Dont own a Golf GtI yet but im saving for one.  Will be looking at MK2's maybe MK3 if i have enough cash.

Currently driving a Corsa Sport 1.4 16v

Hello mate and welcome!!!

Will be looking at MK2's maybe MK3 if i have enough cash.

dunno what your budget is but often enough you can find mk3's cheaper than decent mk2's now. I have had both and would personally go for the mk2 as it was much more fun to drive although the mk3 had more creature comforts and was more comfy/refined etc

Once my girlfriend passes her test and takes the corsa off me i can save up money alot faster.  I dont earn alot of money so it will take me a good while to save up a good amount of cash.  Would you say 1500 - 2000 will get me a decent mk2 or mk3?  I have seen some alright mk2's on this site for 600+

yeah i reckon with 1500-2000 there will be a lot of decent mk2's & 3's in budget!  :smiley:
