Evening Everyone
Unusual post in that my 1st asking where best to sell a Rivage - reason is that I bought it for my wife for a run around and she won't drive it (something to do with clutch control !). I originally joined to use the technical forums , but such is life.
Anyway , my usual route would be via autotrader (quite fancy pistonheads for a change though) and I see the classifieds area on here isn't working yet - any suggestions ?
The car is a very tidy 1992 blue example with 104k on the clock , original castellets , just fully serviced , new discs / pads , set 4x pirelli P6000's , new GT alarm / Immob , oil pump , exhaust and drives lovely (as it was for my wife's use). Located just outside Southend on Sea.
TIA

Odd, the classifieds area seems to be working fine for me? Maybe there was just a problem last night, you should try there again. Also pistron heads is a good idea, and any other golf forums - as a rivage is rare, it's probably best to advertise to enthusiasts rather than on autotrader (although that's just my opinion) - plus it's free here! :P
Also, if you can, include pictures and you should definatly put an asking price - in fact put in as much infomation as you can. Remember there's no word limit on here, and a detailed, honest ad is the best way to go - if it is as tidy as you say I don't think you'll have any trouble selling it.
good luck :)

Hi Tom
Thanks for taking the time to reply...I hit the 'classifieds' on the golfgti homepage - I'll now advertise it on the 'for sale' on the forum instead !!
I'll post a link when it's done later on today.
cheers

Go to www.golfgti.co.uk and look under the "enthusiast sites" in the "Useful links" section at the bottom and put adverts on those forums were possible, busiest would be this site, ClubGTI and Edition38. Your only problem then is keeping an eye on several websites to see if you've had any interest.
