The rubber bits that hold the exhaust to the chassi what are they called and any ideas of a link to where i can buy them or will any auto shop sell them.

Make sure you get the correct ones. The ones for the Golfs are a little different. They hold the exhaust very tight to the chassis and to do this, they incorporate a kind of spacer into the moulding to prevent the exhaust banging.

I bought mine (same shape as the originals) from a local motor factor shop for about 50p each
