Title: A Treat For Mk2'ers
Post by: Conker on 12 August 2007, 18:49
I know... Completely the wrong section. But think of it as a reward for all the Mk2 posts that have helped me.

True, but lets just pretend that it was

Was the mk2 running nitrous?
One of the comments said it was I think?
And one of the tags at the top said nitrous

What have I been thinking!!!  I should buy a Mk2 shell and put my 1.8T into it.

One problem... I'd be wrapped around a tree within a week.

MK2 16v is pretty much just as quick as a 1.8T. There is nothing in it, the Mk2 will go around bends better as well.

Althought come to think about it, where you to stick a 1.8T in a MK2 then yes, you would end up wraped around a tree lol.

The first vid is a bit silly really the E30 is clearly not pushing it as the track looks a bit wet, I mean he was stuck behind a Maestro for a lap or two!!!! Also the driver of the MKII looks to be better at hitting the apexs and taking a tidier line round the circuit, the E30 driver brakes very very early in every corner!!!!
