Title: rear seatbelts in a gti?
Post by: mic on 12 August 2007, 11:39
have searched and read the cabbys only have lap belts but guessing thats only due to the convertable part.
is there 'normal' diagonal seatbelts in the back of a gti with a roof?!

You could get 3 point belts in the cabby, but only in the US and even then it was rare to find!  It involves welding in some brackets and sourcing some hard to find bits

cabs are made for pootling anyway :) so lap belts are fine... and who needs passengers they only complain about geting blown about in the back :)
