I know someone that took advantage of the 'test period' on an S3 and there was a massive improvement, and once the time was up, then no issues. I'm surprised its so expensive as it only takes all of 30 secs to do, and I know Dubsport had this technology around 12 months ago, so it may be worth contacting them also

As you said yourself its for 1.8T engines, pretty sure those figures dont apply to diesels.
What they also don't tell you is those BHP figures are for later drive-by-wire models. Non-dbw's need different software which doesn't produce quite as much power. Also if you have the earlier ECU and have factory fitted cruise control, you can't get revo software at all, until next month. (i'm still waiting ! :( )

Are these companies actually backing up the huge claims they make? like before and after dynos.
-
not sure but this was copied from tsr so they must be ok... it even says 5h trial....... i'm sure it works you just need a 1.8T....
-
a lot of these companies are claiming wild increases on these engines, its because its what people want to hear.
i would ask for before and after for proof.
