There are several on ebay, some look dodgy some look ok, but none in UK yet.
Part No: 1T0 035 680

thanks for your reply, were you pricing up from ebay or another source?
I really want one, but don't trust these foreign ebayers with £1000 of my hard earned, so I was hoping someone knew a trusted seller I could get one from.
cheers

They do and it does. It also has a 30gb hdd to put music one so no need for ipod connectivity

Thats my dilemma. I have sourced a more reputable supplier in the US that will supply a European unit at slightly less than th german ebay sellers. Im just slightly hesitant to part with a K when I know they will be half that by xmas :undecided:

I'm wondering how easy it is to put music on the HDD, as how do you transfer the data, through the DVD player, or perhaps some sort of connector into the SD slot?
Would you mind sharing your "reputable supplier in the US"? you can PM if you like. cheers.

My understanding is you can rip from CD or transfer from SD cards. I will PM you.

what you got?
-
just the basic RCD300 and VW ipod prep
Ipod prep would be great as the RNS510 with built in HD would be great for MP3s, but I doubt it will play itunes format AAC with DRM :undecided:

you would need to convert to Mp3 or WMA.
I have no idea if your VW prep will work, if I were a betting man Id say it will. Although it may need to earth pins swapping on the connection.

Hi dealer told me it is the same princable as my hdd pioneer system (which has 30gb/20gb for sat nav 10 gb for music, will the split be the same on the vw one?) just slot the disc in and it burns it to the hdd,my 10gb is about half full with about 55albums.
