Title: Uniroyal Rainsport vs Toyo Proxes T1-S?
Post by: Bluefox on 09 August 2007, 18:23
Hey folks,
Buying a new set of wheels for my Skoda, and I'm torn between Uniroyal Rainsports and Toyo Proxes. I've got the Proxes fitted to our GTI and I can't fault them, but I'd read a couple of good things about the Uniroyals...
Any thoughts? :)

EDIT:
I've just checked, we've got T1-R's on the golf, the T1-S's are the older compound... So, I'm leaning more towards the Uniroyals... the sister in law's got T1-S's on her Corsa and I'm not too impressed with their grip.

...thanks VW_Valver, any other thoughts?

The T1-S is slowly being replaced by the T1-R which is a great tyre, superb grip. Thats the one I'd go for

Cheers,
