hi, ime new to forum, ime looking for a mk1 golf cabriolet as a second car/project, would be gratefull for any info on what to look for, thanks

rust, rust and erm rust - mechanicals tend to be rock solid tho :)

There's one on ebay at the moment with a 16v engine. Going very cheap at the moment...

theres also a few on ebay with the g60 lump in there supercharged if you fancy it.  :smug:

i have a 1983 cab with a 16v in thinkin bout sellin it!!
