Does anyone know how to get the trims off the exhaust? Mine are filthy and I want to get them off to give them a proper clean. I have had a poka around and can see a small hole on the underside of each one but cant get far enough under to see if its a torx screw/allen key etc.
Any help appreciated.

If you mean the tips, then they dont come off.
The 'ikkle hole on the bottom is just a water drain hole.

I think that BMX recommended trying to clean them with WD40. I tried it and it works a treat. My "tail pipes" get a little sooty & dark and it cleans it up no problems

My exhausts were black and quite heavily caked when i bought the car... it took me a couple of hours and some Meguirs NXT metal polish to get them sparkling again... now I just give them a polish once a week when I wash the car

Actually, Solvol Autosol is probably just as good as any of the "posh" metal cleaners, and Halfrauds stock it. Autosol is what all the custom chopper bikers use to polish their exposed metalwork.

I tried some Solvol Autosol and it worked (had some left that I used on the MG), just took a while. With the WD40 it was just spray and a quick rub.
