Title: Color coding plastic trim from a can

Does anybody know is a good finish is achievable and how would i go about doing it?   ie.what stuff would i need and where would i get it?

I spose i wana do it cos i just cant for the life of me get it all black again i'v tried Kiwi, olive oil, products the lot  :sad:
