Hi,

I Have a Mk1 Sportline in red, all original apart from the front grille...

anyhoo, i cant get into reverse, and when in neutral the gearstick wobbles about and there is an occasional tapping noise.

Getting into reverse is impossible, as is getting into 5th gear.

My brain hurts, can anybody help?

i changed the gear linkage and bushes on my cab. Parts were from ebay. i had them posted direct to the garage that fitted them too.

search for mk1 gear linkage and theres a kit. Cheap fix too. :)

new bushes, do it yourself though, it'll take 5 mins max...

Just check out the details on each part on his website, I've ordered his kit and its A1.
