Title: ive noticed mk2 8v out number 16v's buy quite a lot is it me

or am I imagining it I swear I see so many 8v compared to 16v up for sale, are there less or maybe people just arnt selling them at the moment as I cannot find any, but theres quite a lot of 8v's around my way within 60miles but no 16v's

8v's were made from 84, 16v's only came out in 86 or 87 i think. The 8v was also cheaper than the 16v, may have swayed a few buyers back in the day.

ive got a 16v im selling and im only in coventry! Cheap to and pretty much standard!

nout wrong with an 8valve gti good for cruising.. then if someone wants a race ill bring my mk2 ibiza valver out.. thats the 2L 16v engine out the mk3 Golf if u didnt know lol
