Gents,
I've noticed that for the last while when starting from cold there seems to be a screechy kind of noise from the air injection pump area (much like a slipping belt but not as loud or high pitched). I am guessing its something to do with the SAI system as the noise stops as soon as the pump stops. Any ideas what this could be? Anyone with similar issues in the past?
Thanks.

Just rip it out and save yourself some weight

you will get error lights on dash after removal,1 for improper air flow and 1 for no pump,a resistor will clear the no pump one but the other one will need mapped out and with the new mot regs about management lights on dash you might just want to fix first
