I have aquired some alloys/tyre combo and they are 18" 5 spokes with the correct offset and nut alignment for the GTI. The question is, should I swap them with the Pescaras and what do you think of them? None of the alloys have any defects or scratches - just a bit of dust.

agreed.
If they were some tasty 19inch LM's or similar then I'd go for it. The ones you're showing would devalue your car no end

Nooooo!
Chavoliffic

please don't do it! they look awful! (sorry to be so negative but....)
-
As said already, they look tacky, keep the BBS's
-
swap em and sell me your pescaras!!! They do look pants though!

Hurdy, are those new 5 spoke wheels off the Audi A3 S-Line range? If not what make are they?
I'd still stick with the Pescara wheels though!

I initially got them just before ordering the ED 30 and they have been under the house ever since. I had forgotten about them until I was having a clear out. They have Toyo's on and the make of the alloys are Dare Shark alloys. I had intended on putting them on for track days etc, So I don't ruin my Pescara's. They are only 1kg heavier than the Pescara's so unsprung weight is only minimally affected.
I bought them off a mate who was going to put them on his GTI and ended up with some 19" multispoke BBS's. I couldn't refuse at the time as he was selling them for £400 new and had bought them for £850!!
I suppose the question should have been should I swap them when I'm going on trackdays and such :embarassed: bearing in mind that I have the servicing package inc tyres?

Put them on, only if you want to look a Chav

I have to say they're rank, but since you have them why not use them as a winter wheel to protect the Pescaras from the winter salt etc?

SUGGESTION... put them back under the house and forget about them!
