So whats the deal with them? So many to choose and so many different opinions. Whats everyones preference, and if possible a decent trustworthy installer would not go a miss.

i currently have a cat2 toad immobiliser and an alarm system... however, the alarm is pants, and im also considering a new system. i've been looking around, and it seems that the best option really is a clifford alarm. loads of clifford retailers around, just find your nearest, then go have a chat, im off up to talk with mine this weekend to discuss options.

for a good one look around the 300bar mark.

I've got a Clifford Concept 600, it's ok, I mean, it'll roll up my windows (if either motor worked ) and has a proximity beeper thingy. It also goes nuts if a door/bonnet/boot isn't securely shut which is handy.

It goes off when someone messes about with the car... although its rather oversensitive and tends to get set off by heavy rain which is a bit annoying.

No idea how much it cost as it was fitted by previous owner.
