Title: Another Newbie

Hello people, another newbie here.. just got my PC fixed after 6 weeks of nothing..and have found the site !

Been a long time dubber (15 years ), who slipped into Ford ness for a while, but has seen the light..

Ive owned a lot of waterpumpers, and currently run a Caddy van, the remains of a G60 corrado and am about to drag another dead 16v mk 2 into the garage to play with,destroy and dismantle  ::)!!

cheers gents... its true when they say veedubs stay in the blood... ive still got the full golf ball gearknob from my early mk 1 i had in about 1992 !!  gulp... ;D  looks like a good site here tho' ;)

blu is right we are nuts, but we are a good crew, dont worry bout the ford thing, im still using one as a runaround, well no point chewing up my golf is there. :P

oh yeh and if that ford was an rs well weve probably all fallen into that 'blow an engine hole' at some point it comes with the territory but dubs is where its at 8)

Thanks very much for the warm welcome, its nice to get a response like that when your a newbie ;D I look forward to saying hi at the shows this year.. and I hope to be in a running Gti!! not just a shell.. :P Mind you, I could always stick a Gti lump in the caddy van :-*


Oh and yes the Fords were RS's !  I appreciate most performance related cars, (apart from saxos and bloody novas..) but always seem to come back to Vee dubs...  I hoping to trundle over to Germany later in the year to bag a golf G60... fingers crossed..  You cant beat the sound off a supercharger..... 8)
