Title: Bird crap and clear coat

So a bird crapped on my roof today and by the time I got home to wipe it off...it seems to have left a dullish patch where the mess was. Does anyone know of anything that will fix this ?...will the Meguires Scratch X help this ?

Thanks for any ideas.

I used to have a black Leon Cupra R and bird sh!t made a mess of the roof and bonnet.  I now have a silver car   :grin:

yea...my GTI is metallic black...can't believe how quickly it etched into the paintwork  :sad:

Scratch X will bring it back to a shine, only apply it on a slightly larger area then the dull patch, applying less pressure to the outer area, then you shouldn't end up with a swirl patch.
