hi all,
I'm having trouble with one of my tyres it keeps losing pressure over a period of 2 weeks. I filled it up 2 weeks ago to 35psi and went to check it today and its about 29psi and the corresponding one on the other side is 32psi (the 3psi difference is probably cos it was 2Celsius this morning).
Anyway i jacked the car up and examined the tyre for nails, stones etc and nothing in it, i also sprayed water all over it to see for bubbles and nothing there. I'm guessing there is a valve problem as the tyre looks seated okay.
does anyone know if there is anything else i should check? or better still how to change tyre valves? I'd rather do it myself rather than go down to my local branch of thick fit.

PS Wheels are anniversary ones (if there is a known fault besides the rusting?)

Could be that the valve needs tightening. You can buy a valve tightening device in Halfords for about ?3.

when are u checkin your pressuers???, hot/cold tyre pressures variate quite alot!!!!, if not check your tyre valve, if ok then check tyre and rim?? may have hairline facture?? ???

thanks for the responses guys,
I _think_ (hope) that the valves were loose, I have tightened them up by about half a turn on both front wheels so i'm hoping thats it.
as for the wheel rim hairline fracture problem, this is possible but i havent got a clue how you go testing for it? any bright ideas?
