Title: The wood effect in my Mk4 gti..
Post by: redleif on 30 July 2007, 13:16
I want to replace the wood effect trim around the CD/air con console, the doors etc with the silver option I've seen. Is it the R32/anni editions that have it?

Not 100% the anni does, I think it does tho. R32 def has the aluminium finish. If you are thinking of doing it have a word with Ashmond as he replaced his with the silver look, but resprayed his existing one which cost a lot less. Come to think of it his one wasn't the wood finish, but its worth asking.

i think the wood finish would be easier as you dont have to spend all day rubbing off the sh!tty rubber effect.

il find the thread if your interested but if u want to wedge out search ebay ;)
