Title: PAS belt wont fit

Right i have just taken my old belt off as it was screaming. Now the new belt is the same length but i cant get it over the pulley. I have moved the PAS pump up but the two pulleys are literally touching each other and it wont fit. Have i missed something?

Its on a 90's spec digifant 8v.

All sorted just needed to stop being a pussy and put some back into it.

is there movement in your pump when changing the belt?

loosened all my bolts and doesnt seem to want to budge!

yeah, i undid the two bolts either side of the bracket and with a bit of pursation it moved but the prob was it couldnt get it to move far enough. However in the end i managed. So yours might need a little tap with a rubber mallet or something as it might have rusted onto the bracket or soemthing would be my guess.
