Title: what tyre pressures do you run on the gti 16v or 205 50 15 tyres
Post by: Britman on 27 July 2007, 22:32
in the manual it said to put 2.4 bar in front 2.6 in rear on half load i put 2.2 in front and 2.4 in rear but still feels very hard ride and skippy, not sure what it is in psi dont really use it, its on standard spings, i thought on my old vr6 it wa slower than that  like 2.2 on front 1.9 rear but ive forgot

maybe my shockers are worn so its stiffer, i know the 16v has a stiffer set up anyway but the tyres still feel a bit hard to me

thought tyres should be 205/40 or 205/45 for the Mark3 and i beleive the pressures are printed on a sticker inside fuel filler cap.  I run mine per that and it seems fine
