What is the fastest car you have taken on a 0-40 straight, and what car do you have?
-
0-40????? :undecided:
70+ though was a Civic Type R :afro:
standard 130 TDI
and yeah the other driver was trying but remember Type R's have feck all torque!!  and by the time he got going it was too late and i was in front
-
fastest was prob in my mates m3 gt, dont recall the speed but dammmmmmmm it was fast
-
been in several fast cars
took my dirty deisel to 140 "private road" of corse the other night. didn't think it would do it but i now think 145-150 is posible. took a while :rolleyes:but it got there and even got a video to prove
-
the fastest car I have driven is a r32 gtr skyline 450brake, which did a 12.3 1/4 mile the other person by somebody who has never even done a quarter mile before.
The fastest car i have been is another gtr skyline, which is around 950bhp, go on youtube and search "dartford cruise" and you'l see the video i took in it ;)
-
Just watched the vid Ash, that looks mad! I had to turn my sub down because it was making the room shake with the sound of the engine.
(Cheers for getting back to me btw. VW wipers, the most complex wiper system invented, ever  )
-

Unfortunately I couldnt get passed it, but I did keep up with a 56 reg BMW 650 coupe in my 1.8T upto 110mph before we both backed off (for a corner which is notorious for police sitting on the other side of).
-
Well the fastest car I have beaten in my car (previously 1.4) was a fiesta st, but i was doing some proper dodgy moves
-
lol Ash, you beat a fiest st in a 1.4 Golf SE!?? Your a mad man I tell ya!
-
I actually did, basically two lanes into one with a bus on the inside so i cut around an island and did the bus and he couldnt follow, but I may have to say that was about 2 years ago when I used to drive like a Ricer!

I took an STI just last night (not of the crab kind) he had the big exaust, mud flaps, big wooshing and puffing thing, mind you it was in to a corner at 130 (privat road of course) he bottled it and i jammed on my anchors as we approched and my ARC and ECP went mad along with ABS through her in to the corner no bother at all came out the other side looked behind and the lads calling me a nutter lol,

My boss gave me his keys for his M3 to fill up with fuel, had right foot jitters all the way there and back, was too responsive, he changed that for a bently conti asked me to do the same, sorry had to decline - the thought of a 4 ton monster that would be quicker than the M3, gutted now though.
-
I had the same thing herbster, boss gave me keys to his brand spanking new S3 (no idea why he would trust me with it). Was sh!tting myself all the way lol.
-
Fastest car iv'e overtaken is a lambo mecrialago (however you spell it). however, it was on the M1 northbound, which at the moment has stupid amounts of traffic and road works and I was travelling at around 12 mph and I would assume he was travelling at around 8mph. Great success to the golf!!! LoL. oh and pop trivia, Dizee rascal was driving it. tosser.

If the man had any sense he would know it wasn't just a standard 150 and that it was remaped.
-
you would think that but you know yourself, some MK5 GTIs are just ticks in boxes for coy cars to no research done, his last coy car was a couger as it had v6.... that was his only reason for ticking that box, this time it was..... i liked the seats and its a GTI... he actualy said before he got his that it was a golf like mine hed ordered.... clueless
NB*** I said SOME MK5... Before they venture in for a look in 2 weeks.
