Title: Audi door handles
Post by: Spillane on 24 July 2007, 21:33
Where would I get a conversion kit with the plate around the handle for welding to the car?

Is there a way of using original audi ones and putting a plate on them?

What happens when my battery goes and I have no way of opening the door locks????

I'm doing the conversion on my mk2.

Help much appreciated.

Alan

venom do the weld in plates. buy ones with locks if you are worried about getting locked out.

sorry i was pretty drunk when i replied. mine are genuine audi and have been cut out of an audi door. the weld in plates are easiest though but stil require a trustworthy bodyshop.

Didn't get to see you drunken reply unfortunitly  haha

I don't think I'll bother with them now as my panel beater is asking crazy money extra to do them for me. Think I'm going down the porsche route!

Nice one lads!
