Hi There,
I'm new to the site and relatively new to Veedubs too - I bought a 99 Golf GTI 1.8 Turbo last September, after 7yrs owing (and modifying) a Corsa.  Very impressed so far, until i hit some diesel on a back-road corner a couple of weeks ago lost it and hit a hedge  :sad:. 

Thankfully, it doesnt look like there's been much damage, just need to replace the intercooler which has a small dent in it and need a new front bumper.  Bugger eh!

Beats the Corsa hands down.  0-60 in 7secs or so compared to 1/2 an hour assured me of that...  :grin:
