Doing my first jobs on my GTi today . Changed oil and filter, fixed alarm/immobiliser. Then I fitted a new airfilter and noticed that the feed into the airbox does not have a hose on it, just the airbox hole to fit a hose to . I asume I am missing a part here? If I get a hose where does it route to? What should be on the end of the hose?

The "hose" is only short, it curvs to the left and slots it to a hole with some rubber round it to keep it air tight, have a look at the scrappy or ask around on the forums
If you stick your head in/round you might be able to see where it goes.

Cheers kayoss . I'll have a look. I think some standard hose and a jubilee clip will do the job?

I'm not sure it might do...

Sounds like a good excuse to buy an induction kit if u ask me... :smug:
