Title: Oh sh!t look what i did today, mullered the golf!

I am absolutely gutted look what i did today, you would never guess how i dide it, this must go down in the most careless and stupid accidents. I am abolutely gutted, was driving down a back lane and had to back up for some old grannies! i went too fast and lost it through the hedge and hit a post! then had to walk to the local farmers and get him to tow me out with his landrover as it was stuck. Got it free then wheel was rubbing against bent rear panel, had to drive it a few yards to a lay by jack up and luckily i had a hammer in the car, put space saver on and wacked metal off and then got home via single track lanes and fells! I am absolutely gutted, anyway my point is i am breaking her now!  :laugh:

Anyway, you might be breaking it but the bootlid and rear lights wont be any good  :wink:

yeah leccy window switches are gsf though drivers reg works fine  :smiley: no problem i need rid asap.  :smiley: as for a car i need a runabout desperately going to look at a 1.0 polo on thursday cant wait  :wink:

that was rather silly! u going to replace it with another mark 2 then? or haver u still got that a reg mark 2?

Yeah like you say i am more annoyed than upset, she was a high miler anyway, sh!t happens, i sold the a reg on sunday gutted again!

that is such a shame! unlucky on the reversing dude. i always get carried away with high speed reversing as i live in a one way street and sometimes sneak in the wrong end. Think i'm going to take it a bit easier after checking your pic out though :sad:

I want the doors!!! Are they metallic black or plain black. I'll also need the glass for them. And I'll take the 'up and over' rubber seals.

I live in Glasgow and need loads of parts for my Golf - I can come any time and will pay cash :D You wouldn't believe how many scrapyards (all of them in Glasgow) don't have MK2's.
