i have a set of chrome handles but the mechs are different to what on my 1988 cab? i was just wondering if anybody knows how to change the locks and mechs over! i think the handles i have are form an old audi 80? cheers jeff

in theory you knock a pin out of the handle, then the mech part will come off, then swap.  This may or may not work depending what car the chrome handles came from!

hi there fella that what i thought but on the cab mechs it has a second scre in the mechs which is attached! and i cant see where you would have to redril the hole to accomidate the screw!

if anybody has done this i would be really happy if they can explain how as im stuck! plus after the respray my cab looking really good now and need help getting it to a state where it can go e38
