Hi,
Just been introduced to this site by another one of your member (Geeman) as i've just bought a Mk2 8v GTi for a bit of track day fun.
I have previously delt a little with Mk1 Golfs as my 1st two car were Mk1 Drivers but I then moved on to BMW E30s which is still where my heart lies but i keep finding myslef being drawn back to Golfs so i eventually took the plunge when decided to buy something cheap for track use.
Going to be looking for plenty of advice from all your pro's out there although for now all i'll be doing is stripping it out as it's already got fairly decent brakes and suspension. The main thing that is doing my head in at the moment is how to get some bucket seats in there, whether i can get off the shelf subframes or will have to get some made.
Cheers
Dave

Cheers Tom, i've just got to make sure the Golf doesn't side track me too much from getting the BM completely how i want it.
