Title: hi new golf owner looking for advice

hi people im chris and iv just bought me a lovely golf gti 16v shes a p reg mk3,
the problem iv got is the abs the light has been removed didnt know this till my mate pointed it out and the abs can kick in at any time, iv been told its probably the abs module but dont know where it is in the car can anyone tell me where to look
