....Personally I find such look-a-likes sacrilege and make me want to puke!
-
If i saw that drive by i honestly think it would be a GTI but....whats the point of spending so much money on extras? Im sure some one will buy it thou but just not for me....
Aswell no...climate control, normal aircon lol, spend that extra bit of dosh m8!
-
Looks like they work in a hospital..........mmmm.......or have they just been let out.
-
No expense spared eh? Not even on colour coded door handles :lipsrsealed:
Don't think they do the GTI in "sage" green eh?

?!!! Manu you're begininng to worry me.... are you sure you're 18? Or are you really 80     Aswell no...climate control, normal aircon lol, spend that extra bit of dosh m8!
umm and what about the ENGINE?! the suspension? the esp? etc...
-
Personally, i'm not too fussed with the wannabe look. I'm sure its appealing to young drivers, who want the GTI look but can't run the GTI costs. Personally i'd have people mod smaller litre cars like an GTI/R32 than to tear about in Carzone bodykitted MKV's. Now that will really shame the MKV!

Oh my i have embarresed myself lol! I think yes you do have a point ofcourse with everything else that differs but i dont think a normal person, would be able to tell the difference if that drove by or another REAL GTI were to drive buy :)

and its a category D loss
-
And its a diesel. Oh dear indeed.
To fair he hasnt dont that bad a job and it does look very similar to the GTi.
-
The front wing looks a totally different colour from the side shoot.
Sage green?

and whats wrong with diesel? mines tuned putting nearly 200 bhp and shed loads of torque = very quick car that still gets nearly 50 mpg and even sounds nice with the miltek
-
What I was getting at is that a 1.9 SE TDi is going to be where near as a quick as the 2.0T petrol engine of the GTi, thus making anyone who is sitting inside it think "How slow is this GTi!".
-
what a tit, why on earth you would badge up your 110 bhp TDI as a GTI is beyond me, you might consider it if you had a GT TDI 170 DSG but you'd have to think there must be a reason VW created this whole new GT range
This car is unfortunaly a Cat D
and he's a cat D loser
-
I'm sure that cat D look-alike was listed before, quite some time ago!
Anyway, IMHO -

I just don't understand what's in some people's heads - Just wannabe's I suppose. I saw a silver Mk5 TDI the other day just with 18" Monzas. It looked okay but that alloy design is unique to the GTI and very much part of its iconic identity, and so I felt mildly offended.

have you seen MKIV's on Monza's though!! lol that definetly don't look right! New RS4' alloys look good though
sadly few people have good taste when it comes to modifying their cars
