Title: 1.6 CL Carb upgrade

Hi Everyone,

I have a mk2 1.6 cl and I want to wack a new carb on it, maybe twin carbs. I dont really know too much about it! Has anyone out there done this and are you happy with it can you suggest a good carb and manifold to go on there

Also how easy is it to get them on and get it running sweet.

ANy good places to buy carbs from!??

Go for a twin webber carb i did on mine (same engine ) you can use the original manifold pretty much a straight swap,only thing you may have to do is fit a choke cable which is very easy again !
Well worth it the difference in performance is awsome pulls really well now, plus my fuel consumption has nearly halved !
Keep an eye on Ebay for one an its worth sticking a parts wanted request on here too :)
