Was the EOS Rubbish?
-
What was wrong with the EOS?
-
Those who know me from old know I only have cars for 6 months - it lasted nearly 9 months so can't be all bad.
Also I think she's pi55ed off with the weather after waiting since Christmas for some sunshine
Personally I think they rattle too much, mist up all the time and are a little flexible in the bendy bits - they drive more like a Passat than a Golf.
-
Welcome back Doc!!!!! Nice motor!!
-
Hello Doc - nice to hear from you again.
-
Great looking Motor, I love the GT grill.
-
Great to see you back Doc,
Where are your mods going to start then? Looks quite well spec'ed maybe Sat-Nav or parking sensors?
Your how-to's were great.

Your place as resident expert has been taken by TT mate but good to see you! Am living the dream at last in my ED30
-
Hi guys and thanks for the warm welcome!
-
Welcome back.....You still have the Mini?
-
Welcome back Doctor. Good see old an face about the place...
Tagnut - the mini went ages back i think. I'm sure I remeber it selling with 500 miles on it or something silly.
-
Thats a roger, the mini's gone - 500 miles on the clock and my money back!
I've got a Range Rover Vogue TDV8 at the moment but that's getting changed for an Audi RS4 avant in Sprint blue next week with a bit of luck - my car guy is just seeking the best price for my Vogue and were away!
Plus I still have the Land cruiser, kangoo and the caddy DSG - chipped by me now and goes like stink, The boys that work for me have got a Skoda VRS (Still) and Will's changed the A3 3.2 S-line for an R32 in DBP.
I just failed my bike test on Tuesday but I'm doing the test again in 8 days so fingers crossed I'll be getting a bike too!
-
Missed the Mini going!
-
Welcome back Doc... great to see you again. Also, do you have your order down for the Golf GTI W12 ?

Hiya,
is Xenons that important and are they really worth the extra cash?

Park sensors first!
I only bought it coz it was VERY cheap
-
Hey Doc.
Great to see you are back again. (I did state you would be back)
Great looking car and I wish i could see a chipped Caddy
Anything on the way for you? GTI? R32? Ed 30?
I do remember you said in a previous post something to do with a GTI...
Miike
-
Im supposed to be collecting an RS4 next week
The cheap GTI fell through but I picked this GT up for 15k!
I'll make a video of the DSG Caddy doing it's thing and post it - its funny as hell when you blow quick (NOT FAST) cars away!
-
Please do so!!!
lol
-
great to see you back doc, and back in a golf (albeit a gt - nice!) Must be looking forward to the RS4 you lucky sod! Seems like you had that range rover sport for a while - any good?
-
The sport was crap mate so I sold it and bought a Range rover TDV8 Vogue - well better - a propper car - just need my broker to sell it for me and I can get the Audi
-
I wish
How you doing Ill?
Not bad at all although the 300 mile commute to Bracknell from Ipswich in my Mk2 16v is getting a bit tiring. I have a Corrado VR6 but want to keep the mileage low - around 82k - as I am selling it soon. My missus has a Lupo GTI and my 2nd Edition 30 - with DSG this time - is due in October... I sold the last one to get my house and invest the money. One of my colleagues at worked pointed out that instead of buying a Golf GTI for £28k I could do better and get a very decent Porsche 911 and sell it in a years time with little depriciation... That got my attention - well not the don't buy the GTI bit... that just went in one ear and straight out the other     So I have plans for the next couple of years that involve a Porsche 911 and a Ferarri F355  The Ferrari F355 because it got me thinking about what else I could get for roughly similar money give or take £7k .
-
Nice plan F355 is a monster to run £ wise but is good fun!
911 - depreciation proof motoring IMHO
-
Hi Everyone! This is slightly off topic but I was wondering if I could retro fit the later GT front grille (after seeing the Docs lovely purchase) to my 2004 GT TDI (Mk5)??
thanks!

There is enough room here for more than one <cough> expert <cough>.
Anyhow, I know fcuk all about electronics, so in that area, I bow in respect to the knowledge fountain that is the Doc!
Oh, and welcome back, Doc, from me too.
