Hello all!
Just signed up to the forum as I have been back and forth to this site over the past few weeks getting info to make an informed decions on a car purchase...
...And what a purchase! I bought a 2001 Mk4 Golf GTi Turbo (5 door) about a fortnight ago - Havent looked back since. Theres a pic below (but its only from my phone). Hoping to get some better pics as soon as this rain stops (So probably around this time next year!).
I think I got a good deal - thanks to the forum I knew what to look out for! The car runs well (awesome sound in first gear!!!) and is pretty immaculate with only a few bits here and there need tidying up.
Not really planning to do much - havent really got the time or the money. But the car will be lavished with TLC (Its already had two rreally good cleans in the short time Iv'e owend it). I need some advice about stereo's (but Ill cover that in the appropriate area)and a few hints on a few basics, but apart from that I'm a happy chappy. :grin:
