as already mentioned the red and yellow are the wrong way round... you have to alter them on the h unit harness before installation, they should be on male and female connectors it should take 5 mins

I got this headunit and had this problem for ages, and whenever you turn it on you have to hear the b!tch go "menu, mode...etc" you need to plug in the remote wire at the back, i just took it to halfrauds and they did it within two secs

it is not the remote at fault... the remote is a low voltage switch feed for amps and electric aerials etc.. take out the headunit and identify two wires one red the other yellow, these will be located directly behind the h/unit in its harness.. you will see they have male and female connectors already in place this is to allow you to alter the harness in accordance to your vehicle, all you have to do is switch round the yellow and red so on the harness you have red coming out of the radio then connecting to a yellow on the iso multi plug and vice versa for the yellow..

na, you wont have to use wire clippers. the red and yellow wires have a bullet clip configuration block so you can switch or join them, like mentioned above it will take only seconds to do once the stereo is out.
