Hi Guys,
Have bought my Audi Estate, and have been trying to shift the G60 for about 3 weeks now. Have tried various forums, eBay and Auto Trader, but have had very little interest.
I'm now only after £3,950, which is an absolute steal, given that I've spent nearly that in the past 9 months alone on an engine rebuild etc.
It's in Bright Blue Metallic and is in fantastic condition with no rust.
Only getting rid of it as I just can't use this as the main family car for 4 people, and am moving house in a few weeks and can't afford to keep it as a 2nd car.
Someone must want this beauty......

payment by installments?

Have you tried advertising it on Pistonheads?
Cars that are a bit special tend to go quite well from there....

I don't know why these G60's aren't selling either meaning some Rallyes are having a problem selling.
I think its just these days new cars are cheaper to run. Unless you have been a hardcore VW nut then we aren't as many as we used to be.
Have you had tyre kicking views or just no one making sensible offers?
£3,000 it should go I would say, regardless what has been spent.
Anyways very nice motor mate and I really hope you get what your asking and it goes to a good home!

Its a cracking car mate, no doubt about and IMO probably worth it but 4K is a lot of money for an older car (I dont think left hand drive helps :undecided:) so you may have to wait a while for someone who appreciates what it is and what its worth. Good luck and I hope it ends up with someone deserving of such a cracking motor

Only had one call, which I swear was a hoaxer (sounded like Harry Enfield doing Stavros)!!
1 person bid £3k on Egay but I had a reserve of £4k.
I don't think I'd sell it for much less than £4k tbh, would rather garage it for a bit as I just couldn't part with it for silly money.

i have noticed the mk2 market has slowed massively in the last year.
if you can keep it somewhere i would do until it picks up again.
it's just not the right time sell one

I'd snap it up for sure, if i didn't already own one !

This G60 looks quality, but as said, it's an old car that people who are not enthusiasts will not be interested in for 4k so it's a case of finding that buyer who knows what it is and what it's worth. The thing against you is time, because you would sell it for about that price but maybe not straight away. I've seen Rallyes for sale recently that have taken a couple of months or more to sell. They do seem to sell, eventually, but cheaper than the original price.
