gonna ask a sensible question!
Polishing cloths?
what material?
I am currently using the normal cotton cloths from Halfords using Autoglymm Resin then super (gold)
Should I be using a better cloth? Lambswool?
If so what and where from?

you can use either foam applicators (Meguairs do these) or Microfibre cloths.
Have a look at seriousperformance.co.uk - they do 5 of the cloths for £12 or thereabouts

for applying:

also available from halfords.
for removing/buffing even drying:

or the meguiars eqivalent is also available from halfords in a 3 pack. i like these ones as they have silk binding which reduces the chances of scratching.

there's also this offer:

thats what they all say!
which ever cloths and pads you get, just take care of them.
pads need to be cleaned otherwise the organic stuff in polishes / wax etc can go mouldy.
cloths are best washes with a liquid cleaner and the granules can get stuck in the fibres and lead to swirls. dont use conditioner too
I personally use the meguirs ultra plush, and applicator pads for polish and cotton applicator pads for wax as they can take more punishment.
