Title: Just wanted to say hi

just stumbled on this site and being a big golf fanatic i joined.

I VE  just become the proud owner of a 1995 mk3 2.0 8v golf gti in red.I swaped it for a mk 6 escort 1.4 gti lookalike wich i thourght was a bargain lol.

The golf has 169000 miles on the clock but has full vw service history with proof that timing belt and tensioners were done at 165000 miles.

clearly the fact you've left the ford behind answers the question ..... ANYTHING other than a ford is a big improvement  :wink:
