On my gti 30, i have to press the lock button twice to lock + dead lock the car.... can i make this into one press?

I thought this was a Ford thing.

1 press on the VW keyfob deadlocks the car.  I remember on the MKIV that 2 presses meant it WASNT deadlocked.

i JUST read the manual. and it says one click deadlocks and 2 presses turns off deadlock.. the vw dealer are  fools

Glad I read this. Have had my ED30 2months and never locked it correctly then!

Had never taken much notice - definitely 2 clicks on my wife's yaris so it's not just Ford.

Exactly the same happend to me - usesless stealers!  :sick:
