Yes, undo 30mm driveshaft nut with the car on the ground, jack up car, remove wheel, remove btm ball joint bolt, lever wishbone down to detach bbj and slip hub away from cv joint. Cut off boot and hold the stub part of cv joint in hand and pull, with free hand give the outer rear part of the joint a smack with a hammer and the joint will pop off ;).

Remove the driveshaft, the out cv joint will just bang off. Clean it in petrol, re-grease and put it back on with a new boot.
Hub nut is nice and tight, need a decent size bar to get if off!  :D

I wouldn't try and get the cv joint off with the driveshaft in situ, as the inner cv is on a sliding joint.
Can be done, but will have to secure the shaft so it don't move.
Easier to take the shaft out, before taking it out of the hub,  undo the splined bolts on the inner joint securing it to the flange.

I think you will find it easier to take the whole drive shaft off, eapecially if it is all rusted up. You may pull the inner boot off trying too knock it off with a hammer. (Trust me I know!!) All you have to do is loosen the torx screws on hte inner joint and obviously all the work the take the outer off.
