Title: Milltek Resonated exhaust

Hi,
Just got a Milltek resonated cat back system onto my car. It seems very quiet, does it take time to bed in? The stock was louder but I was advised the non resonated system was very loud, was hoping for louder than stock. Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Not stupid at all! Had the non resonated cat-back on my previous GTi, fitted by Milltek. At the time, they recommended the non res because they admitted that the resonated version would be very quiet. If I was you, I'd go back to your supplier and do a swap for the non res cat-back. After a couple of thousand miles you'll find it sounding great - a  deep growl rather than a scream!
